When a screenshot is missing
Check both permission scope and image type. An image imported through messaging or downloaded from the web may no longer have the screenshot marker applied by iOS. It can be visible in Photos but absent from a scan that specifically requests screenshots.
Change access in Settings
Review the app’s Photos permission in system Settings. Add selected items or change access if you want a broader scan. Re-scan after changing permissions. Revoking access stops the app from reviewing your library; it does not itself delete your photographs.
