Can I recover a deleted screenshot?
Before deleting in bulk, know where recovery is possible and where it is not.
Check Recently Deleted first
Open Photos and locate Recently Deleted. Deleted screenshots normally remain there for up to 30 days, unless you permanently remove them earlier. Authenticate if Photos asks, then recover the images you need. The screenshot cleaner uses the system Photos deletion flow.
Permanent deletion changes the answer
Once an item has been removed from Recently Deleted, recovery is not guaranteed. An independent backup may help, but do not assume that iCloud synchronisation is a separate backup. With iCloud Photos, a deletion can propagate to devices using the same library.
Make review part of your routine
Start with a small selection and inspect it before confirming. Keep records that may be needed for receipts, warranties or travel. The app never promises recovery after permanent deletion, and a storage clean-up should not replace a backup strategy.
